Founded in Spring 2024 by Alexandr Kim, Ethan Tieu, Samuel Pass, and Taylor Lin, the Bonsai Applied Computations Group is a pioneering initiative dedicated to bridging the gap between cutting-edge computer science and diverse research domains. Our group is composed of exceptional talent, with many members pursuing dual majors alongside computer science, enriching our projects with interdisciplinary insights. Since our inception, we’ve collaborated on groundbreaking research in fields such as neuroscience, marketing, and quantitative finance, consistently pushing the boundaries of applied computation. As we approach the new semester, we are driven by our ambition to expand our reach and tackle even more innovative challenges, continuing to unite the brightest minds with researchers in need of specialized computational expertise.
