Fear Response Quantification with Deep Learning

In collaboration with Dr. Dan Liebl’s lab at the Miami Project to Cure Paralysis, this project develops a computer vision pipeline to objectively measure fear response in rodents. By analyzing videos frame-by-frame, the system will quantify immobility of specific body parts after fear stimuli, creating a scalable and unbiased measure of freezing behavior.
