About Us

Bonsai Applied Computations Group was founded in Spring 2024 at the University of Miami to bridge a gap our founders saw on campus: plenty of technical talent, but too few chances to apply it to meaningful research.

Today, Bonsai is a tight group of top computer science students—with many double-majoring in neuroscience, business, physics, and more, working alongside faculty and labs to design, prototype, and ship applied computational solutions to problems.
